Petersen Aluminum teamed up with All South Contractors, Birmingham, AL, to meet a very tight construction schedule for the Chambliss Hall reroof project on the Tuskegee University Campus, Tuskegee, AL.

Petersen turned around 20,000 SF of the Snap-Clad architectural standing seam panel in PAC-CLAD Colonial Red, and then it was up to All-South to remove all existing roofing and flashings and install new to keep the project on schedule. The 16” wide panels were roll-formed in 24 gauge pre-painted steel and featured striations, and the color matched existing colors on the campus. PAC provided panels in the same color for the new College of Business in 2007.

The project started in Spring of 2011, and was completed in Summer, 2011. Architect-of-Record was John Randall Wilson, Auburn, AL, who specified metal standing seam roofing panels from the start of design.
